My little boy is 16. I don’t know where all the time went but he is now a man-sized boy. My little fellow now towers over me. Birthdays bring back so many memories – I just stared at Keegan as the memories rushed through my mind. I go back to the day of his birth and my mind meanders over the years. He is really a good kid and I’m proud to be his mom. When I turned 16, I couldn’t wait to get my driver’s license. This is not the case for Keegan. He is content to wait to get his license through the driver’s ed program at school. I like that he has a practical side – it is easy to see that some kids are simply born engineers. If he can’t get a job testing video games, he is highly likely to become an engineer! He has a unique sense of humor (which drives his sisters crazy!) and prefers being by himself. I still see him as a little boy and I find myself looking at clothes in the toddler section as if they would still fit him. No matter how grown up he becomes, he will always be my little boy…….
